Company membership:
For organisations (including single person businesses) meeting the social enterprise criteria Company members have voting rights and are liable/ a guarantor to the limit of £1

Network membership:
For organisations (including single person businesses) and individuals supporting ESSENCE’s mission. Network members enjoy all the benefits of an ESSENCE membership, apart from the right to vote nor are they liable as a guarantor.

Period this membership covers:
1st December 2019 – 30 November 2020, unless otherwise specified on invoice.
Signups after 1st June 2020, get 50% discount on request.

Social Enterprise criteria
Social enterprises have a primary social and/or environmental purpose. The majority of their income is earned through trading. They also re-invest their profits. Read more on our website: http://www.essenceofexeter.org.uk/membership-policy.html

ESSENCE’s mission
It is ESSENCE’s mission to facilitate the development of Exeter social enterprises and the cohesion between the different players of the Exeter social enterprise sector.

Membership fee structure
Memberships fees are based on annual turnover (organisations)/income (individuals):
£35: turnover/income up to £10k
£50: turnover/income between £10k and £50k
£65: turnover/income between £50k and £100k
£80: turnover/income between £100k and £500k
£100: turnover/income between £500k and £1m
£150: turnover/income between £1m and £5m
£250: turnover/income over £5m
We welcome donations.

Refund policy
If you decide to terminate your membership, we will not be able to refund the membership fee paid.

Your contact details
On your application form you have opted in for ESSENCE storing your information online. (Google Drive). You have also opted in for ESSENCE sharing your contact details (name organisation, (web)address, email) with other ESSENCE members.
