Social Enterprise Network for the Exeter area doubles in size

Since September 2020 ESSENCE have been able to continue the valuable support for the social enterprise community in the Exeter area. Not only that, but the membership has also more than doubled.

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, in the past 18 months the Social Enterprise Network for the Exeter area have grown from 22 to more than 55 members! These are all local social enterprises and other organisations which support the social economy.

By providing a variety of events and support to our membership, we have managed to attract a diverse group of social enterprises which have enriched our membership base through their contribution during peer-to-peer events.

Members now provide social and environmental enterprising solutions within the Arts & Culture sector, the Health, Care & Well-being space, Transport, Business Services, Digital, Retail and Trade.

If you would like to become a member, or want to find out more about what we offer, join us or come to our upcoming Coffee Morning and make socially driven enterprise the business model-of choice for Exeter and beyond.
